Garmon is responsible for the personal data handling and has committed to comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding data protection, such as the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”).

Garmon wants to make sure that you understand what personal information is collected about you while you are visiting our platform and when you make a profile on our platform. In this Privacy Statement we describe how your personal information is used and how it is kept safe. 

  1. What personal data do we collect?

Depending on the purpose for which we process your personal data, we need to process one or other personal data when you make an account on our platform:

    Identification data related to your queries: e.g. first name, last name, email address, country location, or other details.

    Demographic data: age and sex.
  •  
    Financial data: you bank account details.
  •  
    Commercial information: e.g. if you have subscribed to our newsletter or other marketing communications (email address, first name, last name).

    Technical data: e.g. cookies may store in certain circumstances personal data which may include: IP addresses, browser type, location, operating system, etc. For more information, please consult our Cookies Statement. 
  1. How do we use your personal information?

    Customer Support: We will use your data to respond as a user to your questions regarding your profile.

    Marketing: We will process your personal data to manage your subscription to the Newsletter, including to send customized information on our services or solutions and our new events to come.

    Delivery of service: We will process your data when you want to purchase a ticket for an event via our platform.

    Aggregate data: Some information related to follower’s visits are collected in an aggregate way. We can access to statistics provided by website analytics tools in order to have information on the way our page is consulted.
  1. On what legal basis do we process your personal data?

When processing your personal data, we will always rely on one of the following legal basis:

    Your freely given consent;

    Execution of a contract we have with you;

    Our legitimate interest;

    Legal obligation we might have under applicable laws and regulations.
  1. How long will we keep your personal information?

We will never keep your personal data longer than is required for the purposes specified in section 2.

When you decide to delete your profile, we will delete all your personal data within 30 days of your decision. 

Please note that when we use your personal data to send you marketing emails, you can unsubscribe from such communications at any time and will no longer receive them.

  1. Data sharing

When you share your personal information with Garmon, that personal information may be transferred to businesses that form part of the Garmon Group. 

If in exceptional cases Garmon transfers personal information originating from the European Union (the EU) to countries outside the EU, it will only do so in accordance with the respective data protection laws, i.e., no data will be transferred in a third country before first ensuring this recipient country provides an adequate level of protection of your personal data, secondly having introduced appropriate measures to ensure a suitable level of data protection, like Standard Contractual Clauses.

Apart from that, Garmon may transfer some of your personal data to third parties in order to ensure the smooth delivery of services to you (e.g. an online payment system). In this case we will ensure that any third party we use is compliant with applicable data protection laws and we will enter into an appropriate agreement with them as required by applicable laws and regulations.

  1. How do we protect your information?

Garmon takes all reasonable steps (physical, technical and administrative safeguards) to ensure the security of our systems and to protect your information from misuse, interference and loss as well as unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We update and test our security technology on an ongoing basis. Garmon limits access to personal information by our employees and service providers, except as described in this Statement.  Any employee or service provider who does have access to your personal information is under an obligation to keep such information confidential. 

Your information is stored on high security servers.  Where we use a data storage partner, we will make that selection based primarily on their level of security, reliability and experience in the storage and treatment of data, including personal information.

In the event of a data breach, Garmon is committed to complying in all respects with the requirements of all relevant privacy laws.

  1. Your rights

    Access. You have the right to obtain access to the personal data we have about you.

    Rectification. You have the right to require change of inaccurate data about you.

    You have the right to have your data deleted if this is allowed by applicable data protection law (‘Right to be forgotten’).

    Restrict processing. You have the right to restrict processing of data under certain specified circumstances.

    Objection. You have the right to object to our processing of data about you and we will consider your request.

    Data portability. You have the right to request the receipt or the transfer to another organization of your personal data in a machine-readable form.

    Right to erasure. This right allows you to request that your data is erased. 
  •  
    Right to withdraw consent. When you have given your explicit consent for the processing of your data (newsletter or other marketing communications), you can withdraw it at any time without justification. 

Please note that we first have to consider your request before giving you an answer. In any case, we will always confirm that we have received your request.
