Garmon is responsible for the personal data handling and has committed to comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding data protection, such as the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”).
Garmon wants to make sure that you understand what personal information is collected about you while you are visiting our platform and when you make a profile on our platform. In this Privacy Statement we describe how your personal information is used and how it is kept safe.
Depending on the purpose for which we process your personal data, we need to process one or other personal data when you make an account on our platform:

When you share your personal information with Garmon, that personal information may be transferred to businesses that form part of the Garmon Group.
If in exceptional cases Garmon transfers personal information originating from the European Union (the EU) to countries outside the EU, it will only do so in accordance with the respective data protection laws, i.e., no data will be transferred in a third country before first ensuring this recipient country provides an adequate level of protection of your personal data, secondly having introduced appropriate measures to ensure a suitable level of data protection, like Standard Contractual Clauses.
Apart from that, Garmon may transfer some of your personal data to third parties in order to ensure the smooth delivery of services to you (e.g. an online payment system). In this case we will ensure that any third party we use is compliant with applicable data protection laws and we will enter into an appropriate agreement with them as required by applicable laws and regulations.
Garmon takes all reasonable steps (physical, technical and administrative safeguards) to ensure the security of our systems and to protect your information from misuse, interference and loss as well as unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We update and test our security technology on an ongoing basis. Garmon limits access to personal information by our employees and service providers, except as described in this Statement. Any employee or service provider who does have access to your personal information is under an obligation to keep such information confidential.
Your information is stored on high security servers. Where we use a data storage partner, we will make that selection based primarily on their level of security, reliability and experience in the storage and treatment of data, including personal information.
In the event of a data breach, Garmon is committed to complying in all respects with the requirements of all relevant privacy laws.
